About us
DEZA, a. s. is headquartered in Valašské Meziříčí and is a producer of aromatic hydrocarbons and other chemical materials and has a tradition that dates back almost 120 years. The scope of its manufacturing programme defines it as a key chemical enterprise within a part of Agrofert group. DEZA, a. s. employs approximately 950 people and is a substantial employer in the region. With the ongoing renewal and modernisation of manufacturing technologies used, the company aims to decrease the effect of production on the environment. DEZA, a. s. has been fulfilling the Program of Responsible Enterprise in Chemistry – Responsible Care since 1996. This relates to the company effort (from 2011-2013) to establish ČSN EN ISO 16001 - Energetic Management, whose aim is to improve energy economizing. DEZA, a. s. has established a quality control system according to a regulation "ČSN EN ISO 9001:2009" since 1996.
